This watch comes from a long-term private collection containing over 1,200 wristwatches and has been carefully preserved throughout its ownership.

The watch remains in excellent original condition and has never been opened or serviced. It has been worn only occasionally and has been properly stored when not in use.

The case, crystal, dial, hands, movement, and display back remain original.

The original Porsche Design calfskin racing strap is included and shows normal signs of wear consistent with age and occasional use.

The watch is currently keeping excellent time and operating properly.

Le Mans Heritage

In 1970, Porsche achieved its first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the legendary Porsche 917K wearing race number 23.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of that historic achievement, Porsche Design released the P6612 Dashboard Le Mans 1970 Limited Edition.

The design draws direct inspiration from the original 917K dashboard gauges and incorporates motorsport styling throughout the watch. The oversized number 23 display, red chronograph registers, racing-inspired strap, and instrument-cluster dial layout all pay tribute to one of Porsche’s most significant racing victories.

The exhibition caseback reveals a specially designed rotor inspired by the steering wheel of the Porsche 917 race car.
