A distinctive and increasingly difficult-to-find Oris Chronoris Movember Edition 2019, combining unmistakable 1970s motorsport styling with modern Swiss automatic watchmaking.

This special-edition Chronoris was created in connection with Oris’ support of the Movember men’s-health movement and features one of the most recognizable dial configurations in the modern Chronoris family: a deep black dial, bright orange accents, twin crowns and an internal rotating timing bezel.

This example is offered as a full-set collector watch with its Oris presentation materials.

DISTINCTIVE 1970s MOTORSPORT DESIGN

The original Oris Chronoris debuted in 1970 and represented an important motorsport-inspired chapter in Oris history.

The modern Chronoris preserves that vintage character with its compact 39mm tonneau-style case, dramatic dial architecture and orange racing-inspired details.

The dial is particularly striking.

Applied hour markers combine metallic surfaces, luminous sections and bright orange tips. A vivid orange seconds hand sweeps across the black dial while the detailed minute track and internal rotating bezel reinforce the watch’s unmistakable motorsport character.

The result is a watch that feels authentically vintage without sacrificing the convenience and reliability of a modern Swiss automatic.

 

INTERNAL ROTATING BEZEL

One of the defining features of the Chronoris is its internal rotating timing bezel.

The additional crown operates the inner bezel, allowing the wearer to measure elapsed time while keeping the timing scale safely beneath the sapphire crystal.

The twin-crown configuration is both functional and visually distinctive, immediately separating the Chronoris from conventional three-hand watches.

 

CASE & CRYSTAL

The 39mm stainless-steel case features the distinctive angular, tonneau-inspired profile associated with the Chronoris.

A combination of brushed and polished surfaces creates excellent contrast as the watch moves in the light.

The domed sapphire crystal reinforces the vintage appearance while providing the scratch resistance expected from a premium modern Swiss watch. Internal anti-reflective treatment improves dial visibility from different viewing angles.
