Model: 8 Day Travel Alarm
Condition: This clock comes to you as shown. It is a bit of a uncommon clock and has an 8 day 15 jewel alarm with a steel coil gong it strikes on. The movement looks very clean and is signed Angelus. The dial has a chip near the 12 position and a hairline running just left of the center shaft. The original radium numbers have lost much of the radium finish. The cathedral style handset has the original radium centers which have dark stains throughout. The crown winds and sets smoothly and is pushed inward or pumped in order to set the alarm. The alarm will ring but the clock does not run. The balance staff and balance assemblly appear to be good, it just needs to be manually moved in order to get any movement. I believe the balance is gummed up with old dried up oil and a good cleaning and servicing will take care of any issues. The blue leather case is about as nice as I have ever seen on an almost 100 year old clock. This clock, because of the radium, cannot be shipped via Global Shipping program so, it is being sold here in the U.S. only. If you want to try and have your shipping company ship it, that's up to you but there are no international sales for this item.
Measurements: Measures approximately 4.25" x 4.25" x 1" (leather case only) clock is approximately 2.5" in diameter
